Our Policies and Rules at Raquel’s Senior Dog Bed & Breakfast

Vaccination & Parasite Prevention Requirements

 We require that all dogs be up-to-date with their vaccinations, including:

  • DAPP (a.k.a. DHPP) Vaccine
  • Rabies
  • Leptospirosis
  • Bordetella
  • Canine Influenza


In addition, we require all dogs to be on a flea and parasite prevention program.


If a dog is found to have fleas during their visit, we will have to give them a flea bath at the expense of the owner. 


This is to ensure that the fleas do not spread to other dogs we care for. While the flea bath is a temporary solution, in order for your dog to be served again, flea prevention medication will need to be administered prior to their next visit.

Aggressive Behavior

We have a zero tolerance policy to violent behavior against our services or other animals. If your pet exhibits aggressive or violent behavior towards us, they will not be allowed to book anymore of our services. No exceptions.


By using our services, in the event that your dog exhibits aggressive behavior towards another dog, resulting in injury or damages, you will be held fully liable for all related expenses and damages. This includes any medical costs incurred by the injured dog or persons involved, as well as any property damages caused. 


We take dog aggression very seriously and expect all pet owners to do the same. By working together to prevent aggressive incidents, we can create a safer and more harmonious environment for all dogs and their owners. 

Scheduling

Please make your reservations as far in advance as possible, but at least 24 hours prior to your desired service date. 


If your stay is booked with less than 24 hours notice, we will do our best to accommodate your needs, but we cannot guarantee availability of our sitters. If we can accommodate your stay we will charge 2x the daily rate to accommodate your request. 

 

All requests must be made through any of our online booking services.

Boarding Cancellation Policy

A full refund is available if cancelled by 12:00pm the day before the service begins. 12:00pm is determined by the sitter's time zone.


If cancelled later than 12:00pm the day before the service begins, a 50% refund is available for the first 7 cancelled calendar days from the cancellation request date. A 100% refund is available for any additional days.

Payments

All orders, payments and cancellations must be made using our online booking services. If you need to pay outside of the booking services, please let us know so we can figure out additional options for you.
